Using EstimateIt

EstimateIt is run by an independent developer. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. We have designed it so that you can:

We have also made the text as simple as we can. If you have a disability, AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We know one part is not fully accessible yet:

Reporting accessibility problems

If you find a problem that isn't listed here, or you need something in a different format, tell us using Contact us (choose Report a Bug), or email hello@estimateit.co.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

Enforcement procedure

If you're in the UK and you're not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because of the problem listed above.

Version 1.1.0 fixed a missing table heading in Planning Poker rooms, the scorecard's running totals box, and several colours and borders that didn't have enough contrast.

How we tested this website

This statement was prepared on 18 October 2026. Every page, including the logged-in pages and a Planning Poker room, was checked in light and dark mode with the axe accessibility checker against WCAG 2.2 A and AA. The same check now runs every time our automated tests run, and those tests also check that form fields have labels and that error messages appear. The site has not yet been tested by an external accessibility specialist or with screen reader users.
